I've never made one myself but someone I know made one hell of a potato cannon. Each time it was fired you could smell french fries.
It used the combustion chamber + Hairspray method. For a trigger he used a grill starter to create a spark in the combustion chamber.

Yep my dad has one of those too. Works about as well as the air pressure one, but much louder and quicker to load.

My dad has an acetone-powered cannon we use.
It's a PVC pipe with a small pipe connecting to a bigger one, then a bolt at the end of the bigger one.
He sprays in acetone, puts a bottom over the small pipe, pushes in the grill lighter portion of it, which sparks the acetone, causing the gas to expand and propel the bottle.
Pretty cool.

That reminds me how the inside of the cannon i made still smells of acetone.

I also plan on using something like this and this:

insitead of having to modify a bike inner tube

Could you give a tutorial so people have some insight on how to make these
Because i'm pretty interested

If I were to make a tutorial it won't be too soon because I have to get more supplies from the hardware store and get a premiere  pro cc subscription so I can edit videos and export them at lower sizes that are comparable to the original source video.

Heh when ever i try to make on like that it never works.
The air-combustionmaterial mixture is what messes up most of the time. You also have to make sure you have a good combustion chamber.

I have the parts for at most 4 airguns, but it is a lot of parts

iirc my friend made a good one a while ago. I'll have to ask him

I made some of the plaster of paris ammo above, I used about a 1 to 1 ish ratio . Pretty fragile with a direct hit but easy to make.

Me and my dad are making an M3 Lee, that we want to shoot nerf footballs. So we're making a breech loaded air gun that uses a co2 adapter and crossman's Co2 tanks.

Ok the plaster of paris ammo is really loving fragile, like 1 layer of cardboard fragile. So I have two ways to fix it, find a better and less leaky way of making the ammo while still be cheap or move to a new cheap ammo.

I have made a less leaky way of ammo but the last batch i made was still kinda mushy
