Sure, but that still doesn't explain why they're disabling it. If the feature's already there, there's absolutely no reason to go to the "trouble" of turning it off.
It's one less feature they have to bug test on PC hardware. It might also have to do with trying to get KB/M and Controller working at the same time.

lmao AT-ATs can't move freely what a loving joke

If you guys want to see some pre-alpha footage of the canceled Free Radical's Battlefront 3, a person on YouTube uploaded a bunch of videos of it a while back. It shows tons of gameplay from a variaty of maps. You can tell it's definitely pre-alpha material but it looked just like the original Battlefront games. The producer of the game has attempted to defend the title. The best response comes from reddit (and copy pasted by some guy on Facebook):

Is the comparison of the old game battlefront 1 or 2? Because I'm pretty sure battlefront 1 didn't have Clone Wars or space battles.

Looking at this thread makes me cry on the inside. I see the game me and my brother played endlessly be destroyed completely.

Battlefront had clone wars. Battlefront 2 introduced space battles and playable heroes.

Every time I try to play Battlefront 2 it quits to the desktop without a crash message.

First things first: Verify the integrity of the game cache.

AND we had Republic Commando in 2005 on top of Battlefront 2

Please note I posted the one that is actually informative and not biased, unlike the circlejerk one it was based off of.
