Nobody would hate Molten if he never tried to justify himself after making jokes he knows(?) would be overly offensive.
He should have made a 'full' hearted apology and laugh about it whilst admitting he was deluded and that his mental facultes were notwithstanding.
We'd actually like him if he would just do that.
But he doesn't.
