Author Topic: Steam is allowing people to sell workshop content  (Read 20891 times)

inb4 you already have a mod installed but when someone adds a price to it, it won't let you play the game/mod without buying it.

next up: modder's unions

was it really that hard to add a donate button?

Please tell me they have some sort of QA panel for this. I know it would be impractical and expensive, but it's completely necessary for making sure the players aren't being scammed by the modding community.

they gotta get that 75% cut yo

I sure love paying the price of a game to have a group of mods

i think if people create quality content and want to charge for it they should be able to

at the same time i don't agree with charging for third-party extensions onto a game unless it's somehow officially endorsed

help it's a conflict of morality
