I have to admit this armor looks loving epic. Might sell a few trading cards to get it
No. Find a free mirror instead.

well, the good news is that we'll see a decline in all those skyrim mod videos on youtube...

Something just went wrong...very wrong at Valve, it should all be fixed in a few days, when Valve Rolls this change back and refunds everyone and ends up adding a donation button.

still here with superior graphics and support for the remaining mods that aren't behind a paywall

but this thread isn't about that

There is very little chance of them taking this back. At best they will put into place a few logical restrictions, maybe an approval system.

At least we have mods you peasant

This could hurt the modding community big time. I don't think the devs would be too happy about people profiting off their game with 3rd party content. They might try to counteract it by eliminating the ability to mod their games in future titles.

im sure they have an agreement with valve to get a share of the money, but taking 75% is still too much

Well odds are that Modding will revert to the "old" way where addons are hosted on a website and manually installed.

ex. before workshop everyone who used gmod used garrysmod.org for addons

What valve will really be upset about will be when people start "pirating" paid mods, and that's just causing a cluster forget of problems because then eventually there would be an anti-piracy system and I believe that would add restrictions to modding because maybe mods would have to be "liscensed" by then.
