Hello, BLF! Today I was assigned a project, and I thought it would be interesting to see what you guys could make. Basically, you have to create your own app. Keep in mind that this is a seventh-grade project, so don't get too offensive.
The goal is to create and design an app that will improve or help teenagers socially or academically.

I will be creating a video about the app when everything is ready.

Here's what you guys will be determining.

'There's an App For That'

• State the current problem or issue you will fix / help
• Explain in detail how the app will meet this goal
• Explain the Privacy Policy Age requirement, fees, who can see information on the app, how is personal information shared
• Make a clever name for it
• What are the special features?

I'm planning to record the showing of the video in class once it is complete.
This is due next thursday. [4/30/15]

Everyone who participates will be credited! Feel free to add on to other's ideas.

Wait so we have to MAKE the app? Or just get an idea. Judging how this is a middle school project where almost nobody would know how to make something this complicated (although most seniors at my school aren't too smart either. They only know how to text people and send nudes), I'm assuming it's only a idea. I can help you later after my own homework :)

It can be a 'better' ripoff of an already existing app or website, like youtube. Like we don't have enough of those already. As for being realistic, it doesn't have to be, but it still has to fit into the criteria

Ok, here is my idea then:

Clever Name: YouSave

Description: It will record newly upload videos from users of your choosing, ONLY WHEN ON WIFI. This will be very useful to people that do not have unlimited data, so they can watch the pre-downloaded videos whenever they want. Videos will be deleted after a duration of time.

Settings: Choose the user you want to download vidoes from - Add a time limit for how long the video will stay on your phone, without being deleted(This is to save memory) - Add a "Children Mode" so that videos can only be downloaded from Youtube Kids(For over protective richard parents)

Privacy Policy: Any/All videos recorded may not be sold under your ownership - For all ages.

Special Features: All Help / Info sections of this app are narrated by MORGAN loving FREEMAN - Any attempt in reselling this app will result in a round house kick from CHUCK loving NORRIS - This app will not ever take any data from your phone, as it will only download videos on WiFi.

I honestly don't know why this app hasn't been created yet. Its pretty smart.

i thought of one before, it was really stuffty though
it was called the shutty or something and it makes kids shut the forget up for hours at a time
