RTS or TD

I'd someday like to see a RTS (Real Time Strategy) or a TD (Tower Defense) gamemode in blockland.

What are your thoughts on that?

I was working on a LoL or Dota2 gamemode for Blockland a while back. I stopped working on it, but really haven't ended the project. I may be interested in picking it up again.

Actually both of them are an RTS game. Both also have towers that you defend. I guess it doesn't fit the traditional buying towers to defend, but close 'nuff?

Yea but they are also real-time strategies. Depending on your skill level, you'll be strategizing through the game with your teammates to forming plans to win the game. I remembered watching a 1v5 game where a Starcraft (famous RTS game) player fought five other humans and won with his 5 heroes.

I can't think of a single game that doesn't involve "real time strategy." That doesn't mean they're RTSs.

you have to strategize how to kill enemies in real time in CoD black ops 2
does that mean that's an rts? nope
