That is certainly not how it works. You need to get his permission if you want to release it. What if I went on 4chan and asked people if they wanted nude pictures of my girlfriend? Everyone would say yes, and my girlfriend wouldn't even be able to say no because she didn't know about it. What gives you the right to post Marble Man's work without his consent? How is that different from posting pictures of himself without his permission? Acquire a method to communicate with him then ask him. It can't be that hard.

It's true he did pull some stuff, but there's some stuff pinned on him that he didn't commit. Regardless of what someone has done, their work should never be released without their permission.

he's not defending scum, he's defending respecting someone's work. i don't agree with private mods generally speaking but if someone wants their mod to be private that's their personal decision and nobody is justified in taking back that decision on their behalf

i never really liked marble man much but at least respect the work that he did; you don't need to respect him to do that

Considering he did publicly release it at some point (otherwise I wouldn't have a copy), I highly doubt he'd have an issue with it now, but I didn't want to risk it. Anyways the poster above just released it so it's out of my hands now; I was actually holding back waiting for some sort of word from him indirectly (which was probably an unreasonable one but clearly risking pissing people off was by no means my intention or I would've dropped a download link immediately).
