My idea was for a "Rope Wand" or similar device.
Basically, you hit two bricks and it spans a rope between them made from a reusable standard DTS shape.
The tool wouldn't have any effect on the 2 bricks its attached to, but would be destroyed if one of the attached bricks is destroyed.
Possible cool features:
*several styles of rope to choose from (chain, rope, laser, wooden beam, ect)
*toggle collision
*colorable or color selection
*scaling options
The "rope" wouldn't bend or sway in the wind, it would just be a static shape.
I suppose the length and angle of the DTS shape would have to be calculated from the positions of the 2 bricks.
Would be useful for...
*ships rigging
*draw bridges
*wooden slats on houses
*any kind of bridge (suspension, beam, ect)
*walkways
*spiders web
*much much more :D
Again...its not a dynamic rope/beam, just a static DTS shape derived from the distance and height difference between 2 bricks.
Custom GUI would be nice.
