POLL: Should the AOT boards be locked?

It's safe to say that no one plays Age of Time anymore. You can go on at any time, and no one else will be on the server. The most recent thing to happen with the game was when someone put a pyramid of horses on the jail roof. That's it. That is pretty much the only thing that happened in the past year. Because of this, the boards have turned into off-topic spammy stuff. But unlike off-topic, the spam on this board is even worse.

Now, I must admit that I have made a few spammy posts myself. But the spam on those boards is funny for only so long. It's charm wears off very quickly, and soon it is just a board filled with spam.

Since the game is pretty much dead, and all of the posts on the boards now are just complete stuff, I think it's time to lay the boards to rest. There are no recent updates or even players at all, and I don't think the boards will be missed very much. If anything, they're just degrading the website more and more, and are adding nothing of interest. There is no point in keeping them open.

These are normal users spamming there. They're only doing it because there aren't any punishments for doing so. If they're locked, I don't think they're going to spam anywhere else.

Except they're not stuffposters, they are well known users who can have a decent discussion outside of the board.

I've seen this argument so many times and it's not even right. They can chose to not be dumb any time and they're only being dumb for the sole reason that no one gives a stuff.

If Badspot enforced rules on the board the same way as the other boards there wouldn't be an issue.
