Author Topic: Violent standoff of baltimore protesters  (Read 19632 times)

Sensationalist stories? I am showing people what is going on. I am sorry that you are offended that these are black people in the pictures, I cant do anything about that. Want me to censor them out so you don't get offended? I think burning down a church is pretty extreme, don't you think? We're not talking about stealing a can of tuna fish.

A kipper is a whole herring, a small, oily fish, that has been split in butterfly fashion from tail to head along the dorsal ridge, gutted, salted or pickled, and cold-smoked over smouldering woodchips (typically oak).

It's really sad that you completely switch the topic and start calling me a tribal for pointing out how these people are criminals looting and burning.

People tired of killing black people? The only reason why these riots exist is because the media is able to sell a story based off of speculation to create rage and drama. Why does a man need to carry a switch blade? A blade meant for concealment and to be used as a deadly weapon. People die from suffocation from being poorly handcuffed all the time, yet the fact that its a black man somehow makes it more special than say a latino or white man. If you belief that every department exists oppress minorities then you got a problem.

You know what started the Watts Riots? A rumor that a pregnant woman got kicked by a cop. A rumor that lead to 34 for deaths, 1,032 injuries, and 3,438 people arrested with 977 buildings torched and looted.

We need more people to condem these acts of chaos an violence and find a more organized and peaceful approach to dealing with these issues. Until then, these looters and rioters will only hurt the image of black people and every the civil rights movement has fought for.

Thank you harm. That's really all that needs to be said here.

cue the sappy bullstuff that erases that there is an actual problem, and that people who are angry and acting for change are the bad ones while passively accepting injustice is somehow the practical solution.

You want to quote the self-satisfactory MLK quotes that people recycle to make violent action seem pointless but neglect:

more specifically the excerpt by MLK that makes me tingle a little bit

and by the way, martin luther king and the rest of the civil rights fighters did tremendous things with non-violence, and made a ton of progress

but i don't want our society to ever have to sacrifice the lives of 40 civil rights activists ever again. people seem to gloss over the fact that those people were shot and beaten to death in the streets by mobs of mainly white civilians.

so are you just going to be a prick or what

People may not understand that black people at the time didn't even have the option of violence because it would get them slaughtered on the street and still seem justified. Non-violence was a tactic used in order to incite a reaction from America by showcasing white violence against non-aggressive protesters. it was the only way the Civil Rights Movement would work.

Those words seem pretty true to me. Look at the SJWs who fight male patriarchy and gender injustice by calling males evil stufflords, evil cismales, etc. Do you want to support a group that treats people with hostility? The public reacts better to groups and individuals who don't respond to situations with violence. Ever heard of the black panthers or the Symbionese liberation army.

Would you want these guys to represent your movement? The people looked at them as violent individuals out to kill white people in the name of black power.

I don't think he cares about Gray

That guy in the black with a hood, I doubt he cares either.

You damn well know that throwing stuff into windows and further worsening a stuffty neighborhood's economy isn't the right way.

These people are only stuffheads who don't care about anything but the spir of the moment "we are black, we can do anything we want, brotherh"
