About The Series
The first Gran Turismo was released in 1998. It was supposed to be the most realistic racing game ever, however they could only get so far on the ps1 hardware. The next year Gran Turismo 2 came out which added in dirt tracks. Until 2010 this would be the last time we see racing modifications. In 2001 Gran Turismo 3 was released which took full advantage of the new ps2 Hardware. Sponsors could now be read even during a race. In 2006 Gran Turismo 4 aswell as a spinoff game Tourist Trophy were released. Tourist Trophy was essentially a clone of 4 but used motorcycles instead of cars. In 2010 Gran Turismo 5 was released and gave us two of the most aggravating vehicles, Go-Karts and the Red Bull X2010. In 2013 the series celebrated It's 15th anniversary with Gran Turismo 6.

So What Is This Topic About?
This topic for discussing everything about the series, from track and tuning tips to which car is your favorite. Share any clubs you might have and make new rivals. Speaking of clubs what do you guys think of a blf club?

I love the series, so far I only played Gran Turismo 2, 4 and 5.

I had the 1 Demo and the full game, borrowed #2 for a little while and played the stuff out of #3.

Recently played it again through an emulator. When I first played, I was frequently getting gold and silver licenses. Now I'm mostly failing...

I have all six.
Ditto. Acquired all licenses except for the ones in 6 because I just got it.

what's the fastest car you have on gt6?

mine is a maxed out mercedes amg vgt

getting 400kph easly

the handling is complete stuff in that car

My fastest car is a Viper Launch Edition which hits about 230 MPH of course I haven't tested on a track I can top out on yet

In GT5 I won a Bugatti Veyron which I tuned it up and now it's 1000hp, I own a green max tuned Nissan GT-R which has an excellent turning compared to the veyron and a few other cars, I also own a collection of Kei Cars. c:

I have all the Red Bull racers. Fastest is the prototype, totals at 312mph

Also I have found that if you use the Chapparal 2X in 24 minutes of Le Mans and Franchorchamps you can win very easily

I have a blue C7 Corvette and a blue 300ZX that can both hit 300mph on Special Stage Route X. My fastest untouched production car is an Aston Martin One-77 that I just bought. I'm really happy with the buy too.

Am I the only one who loves the music selection on the menus? It makes the game more luxurious and special when compared to other racing games. nvm

I blocked out GT6's music for my own.
