"But women"
Are you honestly telling me if you saw a man wearing a dress you wouldn't do a double take?
mostly everyone would, because in general men acting any way without adhering to the strict social norms of modern masculinity is seen as strange and unnatural, leading to many problems, including but certainly not limited to, common sense.
I would, simply because it's not normal. I'd be proud of him for saying "forget you" to gender roles and forced masculinity.
if only it was that easy. the point here isnt that you can comfortably switch between acting masuline or feminine. those should be, in a way, abolished entirely. of course it can be important to describe yourself in a way the can be pinned down as something like masculine or feminine, but the idea that they are traits of any gender is still reinforcing gender roles.

maybe you already know this and im just reaching a bit, though.

I can see if you're never been on a date.
congrats ur so much better than me

if you absolutely can not get your date to agree to pay for at least their own food (in which case you would've picked a bad date), you can talk to the manager of the restaurant. they aren't going to force you to pay for the other person's meal

or maybe we could just let men wear whatever they want? If I want to wear a dress and makeup then why the hell shouldn't I?
Nobody said they couldn't. I don't care what they wear. However, the norm right now is what it is. If I see a guy wearing a dress, I'm going to be surprised because I'm not used to men wearing dresses.

Right so you want to say how being a feminism is for equality for both genders?
Can you address this? I've never seen women complain about problems men have, except for gays.

What the hell? It's general social etiquette. What kind of starfish would take that to management?

Well yea. Having terms such as masculine and feminine are necessary as a way to identify oneself, but they should not be forced on gender. Women can be masculine and men can be feminine, and their shouldn't be an issue with either, but their is.

Yeah, I guess I should know by now that you don't understand social norms, nevermind then.

I agree that going to management is a bit extreme, but I still don't believe any one person should be forced to always pay the bill.

Like most things, only the extreme feminist get seen because they're the ones causing trouble. I'm a feminist, and I really just want things equal.

if you just wanna talk about how much you don't like me, start a drama thread. it would be much better than saying this pointless garbage all the time
