For the record the giant cookie discussion had me in tears laughing. Seriously what the forget guys.
Personally I don't mind RP's, sometimes I find myself looking for RP's when the only popular servers up is the same stuffty randomizer DM crap or some awful overrated ''''creative and original'''' gamemode. Sometimes it's not always about having something that's loving 100% new and original and never-before-seen, that stuff can get exhausting and confusing, sometimes the best server is an old concept done right.
Unfortunately the thing about RP's is that: they're never done right. Building an RP is something that takes a lot of dedicated time and effort. You have to build a story in your head, you have to build a comprehensive and large build that's enjoyable enough for someone to role-play in, and more than likely some scripting/serious eventing involved to keep things interactive. For the average >15yr old blockland user, having some friends there and a stuffty brick hut is enough. But most of the people here value creativity and effort, and unfortunately the vast majority of RP's fall beneath this standard. And thus by extension, people here don't put much faith into RPs.
