the battle of camp greyling ceases, after the deserters retreated
Marcus goes to survey the damage. Part of the fortifications surrounding the camp are obliterated and evidence of small to large arms fire can be seen everywhere. A small portion of the city of Grayling was hit by the fighting, and Marcus sends some of the men to distribute relief supplies and help any way they can.
The attacking force retreated in haste, leaving their dead or disabled vehicles. Four working or repairable Abrams, three in the area around the base and one stuck under rubble in the city, are still in working order and are taken into Camp Grayling. Another two are destroyed or damaged beyond repair, and they are moved into the base and salvaged. Two Bradleys, one damaged, are taken as well as 3 semi-damaged LAVs and 5 HMMWVs, of the M240 variant, are found.
Marcus wants to go and pursue the raiders, but the base needs his immediate attention, and they don't even know where the raiders ran off to. By the looks of it they seemed to be deserters, possibly from the Indianapolis Guard regiment.
Marcus goes to look for Albourgh to get casualty and damage figures.
