Author Topic: My experience with uploading to the Imgur Gallery summed up in one picture  (Read 2921 times)

imgur's benefit is through sheer convenience. If you can give me something that I can upload an image with one click and share it in less than five seconds, I'll start using that.

Pretty much like imgur except without compression, never deletes uploads, etc.
It's better all around except it has no support for making gifs smaller.

Puush, except it's an unstable piece of garbage that runs into some sort of trouble every few days.
I still use it for showing screengrabs to friends but I wouldn't trust that crap with anything I wanted to stay up.

Exactly what I mean, images I've uploaded on imgur have stayed up for nearly 3-4 years

maybe you think it looks like garbage but
What, you're proud of accepting low quality services? Wow, have fun with that then, lmao.

this is like the third - fourth time taboo has started an argument in the past month or so
i swear if someone says "it's only been four days though!!!"
I don't see what that has to do with anything.

here you go

puush is faster, as in you just have to use keyboard shortcut and bam, image taken.

the only faults i know of is that the servers are unreliable, and they're in austrailia.

puush is great and I would still use it if ShareX supported it, i'm too lazy to look into figuring it out myself.

they're in austrailia.
0/10 worst service

getting a virus is clearly not a fault

getting a virus is clearly not a fault
Considering how quickly it was dealt with and the rather tiny number of people that were actually affected, and most obviously that that doesn't matter right now: Yes. That's not a fault.

It was a keylogger, it's not a small thing. Just because we don't know how many people are affected and on what scale they were affected doesn't make it insignificant

Also thanks for the links to alternatives, I can finally upload anything without having to worry about putting my content into that godawful loving community

I like imgur a lot, it works nice for me.

you do realize that nothing you upload ever gets on the community unless you tick the gallery box

imgur has never given me problems

I use ShareX.
