imgur's benefit is through sheer convenience. If you can give me something that I can upload an image with one click and share it in less than five seconds, I'll start using that.
Puush, except it's an unstable piece of garbage that runs into some sort of trouble every few days.I still use it for showing screengrabs to friends but I wouldn't trust that crap with anything I wanted to stay up.

Considering how quickly it was dealt with and the rather tiny number of people that were actually affected, and most obviously that that doesn't matter right now: Yes. That's not a fault.
It was a keylogger, it's not a small thing. Just because we don't know how many people are affected and on what scale they were affected doesn't make it insignificantAlso thanks for the links to alternatives, I can finally upload anything without having to worry about putting my content into that godawful loving community
