also time of day influences the amount of votes you get greatly. People arent going to be in usersub at night usually, better to post at noon or morning

idk other than the overabundance of advice animals, imgur's community isn't that awful

the awful compression that is applied to uploads, i don't know how the forget people think that's acceptable for an image hosting service lol
not to mention their garbage "gifv" thing that's just an MP4 and makes working with gifs people send me a moderate nuisance
