Well, unless the shell has a crack in it before being opened, eating raw egg shouldn't give you salmonella.
You should always eat raw egg directly after cracking it, it's bad to leave it laying around
It would need to be exposed to a source of salmonella for that to make a difference.
And if that happens, the egg is infected whether it cracks before use or not
I'm pretty sure I had salmonella because the night before I had tasted the sauce I was cooking chicken in before the chicken was fully cooked/the sauce was hot enough to kill anything
