Need to know good anime

I was going to ask eventually in the Anime and Manga Megathread, but I am also interested in watching something new.
I kinda want to watch something a little bit spooky/creepy, rather than action-packed, and preferably not in a hyper-realistic style, if that makes sense. Closer to a cartoon style, I suppose.

But I don't really care if it's subbed or dubbed. And whatever means I can watch it through, besides Netflix, as I don't have that.

How is a show better when your not actually looking at whats going on to read subtitles?
The only reason you should even watch something in another language is if there is no other option.

it's kinda creepyish a couple of times, and only action-packed sometimes, but it's really good

except for the endless eight. I personally watched all of them but one, and it was actually not that bad, it kinda makes you feel the same way that the people in the story might have. doing the same thing over and over again with only slight variations
