Hopefully its a very gore intensive game. Love being able to obliterate bandits lol

i want the in game radio to have more than 30 songs this time. just get a full discography of every song made during the 40's and 50's and plunk that stuff into the game hombre

Fallout 1-2 had some pretty unique death animations, especially with bloody mess turned on.

Fallout 4 needs the ability to shoot someone in the groin/eye in VATs. Fallout 3 and NV are a downgrade in comparison to Fallout 1/2 when it comes to targeting body parts. Fallout 2? You can run around shooting a Deathclaw's eyes out with a BB Gun or blasting everyone you come across in the groin.

imo modern fallout isnt really about vats at all
its a crutch to excuse how the engine is kinda stuffty with gunplay and also to half-assedly include something from classic fallout

Gamebryo is one the clunkiest engines I have ever seen. It might have been decent for early 2000 standards, but it's too damn old. I thought vats was kind of redundant due to the way 3 and NV played. While classic fallout aiming had more places to hit, I for a shooter I think this feature is kind of redundant.

However I hope Bethesda learned something from Obsidian. I really hope they bring back Damage Threshold for armor, different ammo types, and weapon mods. NV and the Classics had better dialogue as well. It was also fun playing 0 intelligence character was pretty fun too because of the dialogue options you got.

I liked that message box in the corner of the screen as well that would sometimes spout out random things like:

Larger parties and the ability to have more companions like the classics is nice too. Could make the game more interesting going around a band of merry men. However I think a Ghost recon/Arma style command system would be nice in addition to that rather than have some brainless chickens that follow you and shoot at whatever is in front of them

However I think a Arma style command system would be nice in addition
no pls mercy. i love arma but its command system is so bad it hurts

new vegas had like 5 songs
thats something 3 did really well, they got the right songs. NV just wasnt as good, musically

NV just wasnt as good, musically
are you kidding me
they implemented songs with a jazz / casino type of vibe, and an obvious western theme also
it was perfect

the singular thing that would be unforgivable is not replacing the engine. they had two major release pairs on the same engine, with some extraneous discrepancies. it's time to move the series forward.

My memory and wiki says you are wrong. You probably only listened to Radio new vegas and ignored all the other stations. Plus you had the ambient music from all the games as well if you weren't listening to the radio.
