Does battlefront 2 run on a newer os?

I want to get it so I can play some mods and multiplayer but I don't want to get it and realize it won't work. Can it run on windows 7 or do I need to dig up an old pc?

There is a mod that allows for multiplayer. A guy I watch on youtube uses it.

Every time I try to do Instant Action, it crashes without any crash messages on Win7.

That's odd, but I have played it before no problem on Win8.

Maybe try compatibility mode

If you have the same problem that I did, try plugging something into the mic slot of your computer.
Doesn't even have to be a mic, just have something there and you won't crash on starting a level.
