Author Topic: Some kid stole my earbuds  (Read 5517 times)

Tell the administrators. If you want to try and threaten him, bring a baseball bat to school or some other weapon that you're allowed to bring to a school. (I can't think of anything as effective as a baseball bat that comes with an alibi)

I'm interested to see what happens

I bought my ear buds from Dollar Tree for $1. Yeah, they're crap, but at least they work, aren't a devastating loss if they would stop working, and are easily replaceable.

They also sound like stuff at that price though

You're 15, fights at that age aren't about size or anything, It's about the element of surprise, if you end up "having" to fight, just make sure he doesn't even know you're there when you land the first hit, make it a fist, in his face, and you've won the 1v1... but then you'll lose the argument... Better to seek some grown up who DOES care about you being robbed and knowing who did it.

I think a bigger issue than the price here is that people often leave their things unattended. Now, I don't know the circumstances of the OP, so I'm not gonna pin anything on him, but I have seen people literally leave their backpack by their chair and then go to the bathroom or something. While theft itself is inexcusable, you are still partially to blame if you leave your items unsupervised - especially when you are aware that there is a good chance for theft.

Was it this sort of situation, Sheep? Or did he break into you locker or something?

now to wait for the exciting conclusion

People have been waiting for the conclusion, so here it is.

Our school has a police officer who monitors everything or something, but anyway I told her about the situation. The police officer pulled the kid out into the hallway and found the earbuds, but they are ruined now.
Not only will the kid be suspended for 2 weeks, but he has something ( forget what it was) put onto his record.
He also has to buy me new sound equipment, and I'm going to get the most expensive pair I can find.

I feel good now, and I thank the kid for stealing my earbuds.
I will enjoy my Beats Wireless.

why the forget would you buy beats, they're stuff
but they're also over priced so eh, hes paying

pls no

pay high for quality, not nothing

This suddenly became justice research.

this

Please, OP, get something good.

you had $125 earbuds

I had 60 dollar earbuds (which I broke asdf). I like my sound quality. That's about as much as I'd pay for earbuds. I'd pay $125 for some good over-ear cans though.
