Author Topic: I can't join my own dedicated server  (Read 1560 times)

I am hosting from another pc (that I own) and set up a dedicated internet server.
In the server window it says that the server is running and is posting to the master server. I try to join my server on a second pc, but it just has the connection attempt window up with no progress whatsoever. I cannot get to the loading screen.
Can someone please help?

I am posting the console.log of my client

Will post server log in a bit.

From my server.

can other people join it?

I'm not sure. No one has, but I don't think anyone has tried anyway.

Try connecting directly to your IPV4 address (or your internal IP), just click the direct connect on the join window

Try to query lan instead of internet servers and join the server; that works for me when I can't join my own server hosting a dedicated server.

Doesn't show up in the query.

The problem is I'm not sure if others can connect or not.

If its not showing up in the query for you then nobody will be able to see it

I meant it won't show up in the LAN query.
It shows up in the Internet query.

Did you enable/disable UPnP and did you port forward?

My router supports UPnP and I did not disable it.

I was able to host in the past.

Reboot your router (unplug, wait 10 seconds, plug back in) and your computer.

^This fixes most UPnP problems.

I'm not sure if my family would be too happy to have the internet, tv, and phone suddenly switched off because I'm having problems with Blockland.

Even for 10 seconds.

Even for 10 seconds.

Just do it.
