Author Topic: A literal $10,000 supercomputer  (Read 1949 times)

The definition of supercomputer is actually subjective:
"A mainframe computer that is among the largest, fastest, or most powerful of those available at a given time."
if all you've had is 150MHz 1990s computers and you suddenly got upgraded to this, yes, it would be a supercomputer

Even if you were rich, it's still a bad idea to buy this. If you're extremely stupid, just hire an "expert" (literally anyone that knows anything about computers) to pick the parts and build your pc.

why he spread the paste all flat, wouldnt it be better to let it flatten itself from a blob

"WOAH NICE GRAPHICS I'D LOVE TO GET MY HANDS ON THAT."

"WOAH NICE GRAPHICS I'D LOVE TO GET MY HANDS ON THAT."
DAMN IT I WAS TOO SLOW

as opposed to a figurative $10,000 supercomputer??

tbh there's barely any temperature increase doing it this way. when I do it I try to keep it as a blob, but if I forget it up and thermal paste goes everywhere I just spread it out.

This thing looks ugly as stuff.
It's so tacky looking lmfao

Ha, good luck getting the money for that. I bet by the time someone buys it. Its outdated as hell.

I found this a few weeks ago...

the ironic thing is be it 4 or 8 din ram slots you have.
you technically get faster bus speeds out of your memory by sticking to the bare minimum sticks needed to enable dual or quad channel. thats 2 or 4 sticks at most.

to fill up all the slots, slows your stuff down XD

so depending if you are a ddr3 or ddr4 gamer, the most ram you should ever have on your comp is either 16g or 32g
