Sega has announced that they're gonna make more console games, a horrible decision considering thats pretty much the reason they're going bankrupt

only if everyone was just a sonic clone while having a sort of different style of gameplay that wasn't too gimmicky.

basically
1. must go fast
2. has to have some new semi-new, non-intrusive gameplay that doesn't break #1
3. only story should be eggman is bad guy and needs to have his face kicked in.  no other humans or cities.  no dialog beyond funny quips from heros.
4. once you get all chaos emeralds you should just be able to use it anytime and it should be the most OP stuff ever
5. shadow should not be 50 cent.
6. amy should not be an obsessive slut.  if Boom did one thing right it's amy's character (for the most part)

as long as it has fast-action stages from SA2 or sonic stages from SA1 we're good to go

it's too gimmicky.  The only boost you should get is from the Chaos Emeralds.

boost has been good for the most part since rush
you say it must go fast, wouldn't boost help with that?

The boost should have a downside though, too much boost usage should lower the overall rank you get.

just make him naturally fast.
no boost unless super form is active.

ok maybe only time travel if it's just for level themes and barely factors in for plot.
kinda like Crash 3.
