What is RBLXDev?
RBLXDev is a fan continuation of ROBLOX 2008 using the old abandoned client, and its Studio. It is currently being developed upon, and as stated in the title, has working multiplayer server support.

How do I host a server?
You'll need a open port. If you have TF2 server ports, Minecraft server ports, or another game's server ports open, and you're not hosting a server for that game, guess what? It works.
If you don't know how to portforward, just go to http://portforward.com and check out their guides. You don't need to download anything from them, it's unnecessary.

RBLXDev Patcher (PATCH THE ROBLOX CLIENT WITH THIS)
RBLXDev Launcher (THROW THIS IN THE OLDBLOX FOLDER)
OLDBLOX Weapons (USE THESE ON MAPS)
OLDBLOX Maps (USE THESE ON YOUR SERVER/SOLO)

How do I start a server?
Open the launcher, and input a port. It's that simple.

Anyways, if you're hosting a server, post yo IP and port here.

Also, any RBXL files for places in the 2013 client won't work. Do not attempt to use them. Also, check their forums for scripts and places to use!

did you actually throw the launcher and patcher into the installation folder and patch it

i found out how to start it but when i hit "play solo" under the tools tab it just hangs on "contacting the server"

I'm honestly not sure, there aren't any donations or something on this one. And the original ROBLOX gets more buisness anyways.

Hell, the official servers and the domain are all coming from my own pockets. I'm doing this because I love ROBLOX, and I certainly do NOT want to affect your profits.

A few years ago, I set up a PayPal account for donations to start a server. The result? 0. Now that I have some money, I decided to pay for the servers myself.

Plus, most of the players still play modern-day ROBLOX (actually, most of them have BC, too!) and the rest have just quit.

If you insist, you should e-mail me at raymonf@outlook.com instead of directly sending a DMCA/C&D letter to the host. You should also add some proof.

you could be a lot more specific on how to get it running in the op
"PATCH THE ROBLOX CLIENT WITH THIS" doesn't make much sense when the patcher doesn't read .exe files

Ok.

Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\ROBLOX Corporation\ROBLOX in the Patcher. Click Patch. Throw the Launcher into the ROBLOX folder. Launch it from there.

it's not a cracked/private server for a current game
it's a public server for an abandonware game
