"it's pretty much gmod with a lego-related style to it"

if they don't like that then the game's not for them.

Does he have any reasons why he's hesitant to get the game?

Not so sure. He's really good at absorbing script languages. I'm telling him he can learn a new language, but I think he doesn't understand how that works with this game. I think the thought that Blockland might be like Roblox gives him the cringes

Roblox has evolved so much now that i hardly consider it to be similar to Blockland anymore :L

the only down-right noticable similarities i can point out are that both games uses "bricks" and "Places" on Roblox are almost like servers in Blockland.

This (probably) goes in help.

helpful tips for convincing:
- dress appropriately
- clean ur fingernails and cuticles and take a shower and dont smell bad
- brush ur teeth
- smile and make eye contact
- speak clearly
- dont mumble
- practice ur argument of why to buy blockland in the mirror
- have notes in case u forget what ur talking about during the debate

i know these are not reasons to buy blockland but they are very important when u bring ur argument up to convince him to buy blockland and they make ur reasons sound better and

Setup a simple gamemode in LAN and let him join with a demo installation.
He doesn't need a key to play in LAN.

"it's internet legos"

Why not? They belong to the same genre.

Tell them that if they don't join, they will get banned from Lifeland forums.

Does OP have a problem with the game?

Just tell him it's a digital sandbox with hundreds of thousands bricks with official moddinv support. If that doesn't interest him then it's not for him.

He's explaining how they aren't releated?

At gunpoint.

On a serious note, tell him
"it's pretty much gmod with a lego-related style to it"

if they don't like that then the game's not for them.
but with less ragdolls.

Or try:
"it's internet legos"
If none of these work, it isn't a game for him.

Or try convincing him that you can shoot on it and make your own things, like RPG's and TDM's.
