i can disable it via my touchpad

its got an area which i can double-tap to turn it off.
gonna do that and see how it goes.

edit: a problem that exists regardless is the middle mouse button activating with nothing but a gentle touch

can confirm, disabling touchpad does not fix.
i cant know if its the mouse or not because i dont have another mouse to try.
