Author Topic: steam now offers refunds  (Read 9540 times)

returning skullgirls lol

what a stuff game

How do I request a refund to a game that is not eligible for the regular system?

This should stop the endless stream of terrible games on steam since they will make no money.
Now Valve just needs to stop doing greenlight and remove bad ones that are already on the service.

You can try, though I have to say you're the first person I've ever seen who didn't like Isaac after they played it
I just don't know how.
Like, where do I go to get it refunded?

I really wanted to like the game too. The art style just creeps me out too much for me to be able to enjoy the roguelike gameplay that I normally enjoy.

Time to request a refund for the crew because my stuffbox can only run it at 2fps on minimum settings

They said they still consider things that are outside of their set boundaries.

Just write an essay or something explaining yourself in the notes.

There are more details below, but even if you fall outside of the refund rules we’ve described, you can ask for a refund anyway and we’ll take a look.

i played killing floor for 64 minutes and it ran like stuff
i purchased it on christmas 2013

Welp, I can't refund it because I bought it too long ago. Poopy. At least I only spent $.50 on the game, so it's not much of a loss...

yeah if you purchased it that long ago you definitely can't

christmas 2013

Even though they said they're being lenient it's probably not THAT lenient

were you seriously going to request a refund for 50 cents

just sell some trading cards

or go into a large parking lot and look for dropped change

I'm sure if you either played it for under 2 hours OR bought it within 14 days they'll probably refund you. I'm am just guessing at this, since they say they will still consider refunding you.

why not?

hey, 50 cents is everything when you have to manage your finances for the steam summer sale. Im not letting my bank call me and ask if I was the legitimate user of my card this time, because im sure they'll do it again.
