Author Topic: starfishs who walk around with huge guns  (Read 7650 times)

I support what that guy is doing. He didn't do anything wrong, he didn't hurt anybody, and he is expressing his 2nd amendment right, which is not to just OWN arms, but to BEAR arms. Also, OP, there is no such thing as an "assault rifle". That's a BS term made up by left-wing extremists who are against the 2nd amendment, and who in most cases pretty much hate America and what it stands for.

Also where is this bullcrap about the guy "always walking around with a gun everywhere" coming from?

School shootings generally do not start with stealth. Crazy Flash Mobers walk into public spaces with huge loaded guns. People with actual interest in self-protection conceal carry.

if someone wants to shoot you someone is going to shoot you. banning people from open carrying is not going to fix anything at all

did anyone even say 'we should ban open carrying'

there is no such thing as an "assault rifle". That's a BS term made up

I'm sorry.

What?

this had better be bait

How did the people there know he wasn't going to shoot people? If he's worried a real Hardcore Gamer came in, he'd be the one shot first. Now if he was actually concerned with protection, he'd conceal carry so criminals wouldn't know, and therefore he would be able to shoot first.

But this is just 1. Persecution complex 2. Small richard. He did nothing but frighten people.

Of course. But can you convince everyone you're a good guy walking into a store with a huge, loaded gun? Conceal-carry only makes self defense much faster in the case of a hold up for mass shooting, because the bad guys with guns won't target you first. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

I don't think anyone's saying it should be banned, just that carrying an assault rifle out in the open in an airport is just asking for trouble.

He already once went on a tirade defending creationism. I think he might actually be the "YouTube comment" type of person.

im not saying its for practical purposes to be lugging around a semiauto rifle. im saying that if the guy is clearly showing his gun and isnt already shooting people that he probably isnt a threat

normally if you want to commit a mass shooting you will start shooting the moment people notice your gun at the very latest. nobody is going to see it coming

this is the stuff you hear from commercials over the radio on a grand theft auto game, this can't be serious at all

He probably isn't a threat
People obviously weren't convinced of that. What do you even need a gun like that for? Is he planning on a castle defense style invasion at any moment?

I literally cannot tell if you're serious or if this is what you really think.

For me, I wholly support the concealed carry movement as a means of defense for your person or other people in imminent danger. But people who wish to get a permit for it should be subject to many hours of training and instruction.

Carrying large guns in plain sight is absolutely stupid and I would not feel the least bit sorry for the guy if he'd gotten killed. Airports are also very strict on security measures due to the enormous amount of damage a terrorist can cause either in an airport or in a plane. This was by no means a lawful or even peaceful protest relating to the 2nd amendment.

also I want to be the first to actually post it, too

lets have another actual event too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lod_Airport_massacre

ok come back when you actually know what you're talking about

usually people only walk around with guns if they are being hunted by a gang or something
