Not sure about the minigun. It doesn't seem to fit with the current weapons.
Well, the bomb weapon doesn't really fit with the current weapons either, but it's there anyway. Perhaps you could make the minigun a vehicle/bot-riding exclusive weapon, like the Bomb? That'd solve a lot of balancing issues, and give people another reason to use rowboats.

Come to think of it, I remember years back that on Wizzard's i'd go out with a minigun in a rowboat and mow down tons of people bombing in planes all time. It was lots of fun. Please add that minigun back!

I have improved my persistent loadout script and attached it to this reply uploaded it HERE because the forums are blocking me.

It now uses a special brick so you can manually set which items will be saved when you pick them up. Dropping a tool removes it from your loadout until you pick it back up from its spawn brick (which might be a little annoying to people that want their tools in a specific order).

Note that it requires Slayer in order to function and I will not be able to test it until I get home.

evidently Vlask said there will never be a load-save button on the server because it means people can save weapons from the islands. anyone else mind weighing in on that?

Very happy to see an increase in use of the Bomb!

I am considering adding some anti-air on the islands. Since the AA guns cannot look below a certain limit I should be able to place them in higher positions so as to prevent them from shooting ground targets. Also I feel that the AA guns should use raycasts instead of projectiles so that they can actually hit planes. If raycasts are used I also want to reduce their range so that they can't shoot the full distance between the carriers and the islands.

I might just wait until a new build is completed though. My goal is to make it so AA guns are used to protect ground units from bombers but friendly ground units will have to defend the AA guns from enemy ground units. The AA guns will likely be out of the way of the capture point so teams must focus additional units in offense/defense of the AA guns in addition to the capture point. Right now the islands are too cramped.

Nah, it's easy to shoot down planes with AA projectiles. I was doing it very successfully the other day.

Are my modifications to the AA guns working correctly? I reduced the range to prevent people shooting the islands with them.

Greek, have you considered using H&K weapons? they all have infinite ammo with reload, but the only downside is they use raycast. Its definitely possible to change that though.

no way, no raycast weapons. there was already enough of a problem with that with people using aimbot.

still 70k bricks, huh?  Given it's all within an immediate area, I really think that number should be reduced by half.
