Author Topic: /r/thebutton has finally ended, the latest april fools joke to end  (Read 1165 times)

http://www.reddit.com/r/thebutton/

incase you didn't know, the button was a challenge to see if the reddit users could resist pressing a button for a whole 60 seconds, and each time it was pressed, the global counter went back to 60.
you could also only press the button ONCE.

because of that, the button lasted 2 months, rather than it's expected time of a day or a week.

1,008,316 people pressed that button in the timespan.

What even happens when you press?
i'm not so sure
I wasn't able to click because my account was newer. I inspected element and deleted the class 'can't click' or something. I clicked the blue, rectangular button, and the timer resets.
