Author Topic: I switched to full on firefox.  (Read 3070 times)

then you're free to enable it again
chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
wtf i thought they didnt allow you to do that cuz of malicious extensions
w/e, thanks for the tip

speaking of firefox, i have a pretty nice theme goin on

but i never use firefox because i just like what chrome has more

google chrome kept using all of my ram (i only have 2GB of ram) and my computer froze a lot

firefox is way better than google chrome

There are a couple features that I miss from chrome in firefox and you might miss too. Automatic translation of pages (and an option to right click -> translate page) and an icon showing which tabs are playing audio.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/quick-translator/
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/noise-control/ - Seems firefox can only do it with HTML5 audio.

but in the long run, the people who made the apps should make them again, with better tools
There are no better tools. WebGL is still garbage for 3d games and desktop downloads are the only other option.

Google started this move way too early, before any replacement technology is available. No idea why. They don't care for the users as much as they pretend they do.

i like internet explorer because the logo is a letter and that helps out when i'm trying to spell things with my taskbar like eeeee

Waterfox and Chromium/Chrome do me justice.

desktop downloads are the only other option.
there you go
it's the same thing you can get with unity browser plugins, except not bad

firefux
that's where all us fire elemental usernamed people go to nasty wonk wonk

I really like SeaMonkey.  It's like having Firefox and Thunderbird built-in to each other.

when i used chrome it would freeze every time i opened another picture on reddit. havent had that problem with firefox

I am reminded of rule 34, when I see the Firefox logo. Probably because if you google Rule 34 on images, Firefox is in the first few.
