Author Topic: I switched to full on firefox.  (Read 3038 times)

Being 64 bit doesn't really make a difference though, unless you're opening a four gig webpage.
It allows you to use optimizations for larger datatypes like doubles, int64s, that sorta stuff as well.
Plus, Waterfox is built with a bunch of compiler optimizations enabled that aren't enabled on regular Firefox.

i prefer opera
the only thing i miss is middle click to open a new tab

I can look at those insanely high res pics that nasa has now, plus its also faster than the other major browsers.

Okay, IMO Firefox has a bad look. I love Chrome's look and feel. Not switching to anything but Chrome. :)

I use chrome because everyone said it was better than IE. After using it I can confirm this. I am too lazy to try out another browser though.

If you mean middle clicking a link to open in a new tab, that's always been there.

You guys should of gone with Waterfox, it has full 64bit support.

I use a modified version of waterfox I call Evo and its based on one of the early concept images of what Microsoft Edge was going to look like, I also did a large amount of tweaks in the dev settings, and semi-integrated ublock into it.

Still Waterfox is the best for me until Edge is released.

Oh stuff, any plans on releasing this? This looks hella sweet.

firefox doesn't support webkit
it is the worst

Firefox is good. Chrome is good. You know what's not good?

... Internet Explorer.

We can all agree on that.

Updating it is a pain in the ass, so much stuff breaks when Waterfox gets an update, but the skin is actually an old Metro skin, you can get it here : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/pseutro/

To use it you have to disable addon compatibility checking, I'm just going to warn you there is lots of broken stuff in settings, so to change waterfox/firefox settings please switch back to the default skin.

I do not agree with you, IE8 and bellow where bad, IE9 Fixed its stuff, 10 and 11 are Nice, the only issue is there is no updated Adblock and the Lack of extensions.

Please do not Judge IE11 on the crap history IE8 Gave it, it actually runs well, but I prefer Waterfox (or Evo Browser)

Know what? I'll try Waterfox for a while and see if I like it.

Thanks for the link and that's a shame.

And for anyone that was going "But I like the look of chrome" well take a look at this.
For anyone that doesn't want to click the link, it's a theme add-on for FF that makes it look like chrome.

That's not what I mean. I mean middle clicking on the tab section and that opening a new tab.
