From my understanding, I had a friend that had avast on his PC. It was slowing down A LOT, so I ran a malware scan, and detected over 2000+ objects. We're pretty sure the source was avast, but we're guaranteed it was.
So you think that Avast PUT malware on his computer? That's what it sounds like you're saying here.
avast is free for the simple stuff but it starts to annoy you about buying it after a whilejust use microsoft security essentials, if you have windows. it is free
use malwarebytes instead
I do have windows on my pc so I guess I can give it a try. Link?
I use Avast and Malware Bytes and i de-confirm this entire post
