because i wanted to travel outside of the valley for once and i wanted to have a challenge
and no one is coming with me except my friend who is also helping me prepare

At Niagara Falls last year I ran into a group of bicyclists on a cross-country tour and some others on a New York State ride. It's interesting stuff but the most I've ever biked in a day was 40 something miles.

i've biked around 40 too, i went to mesa to visit my grandparents

Blouke is in luck because Arizona is one of a dozen or so states that even let bicyclists use freeways legally.

But even despite that, he's going to get stopped by pretty much every single highway patrol officer out there. They don't want to let someone die out there if they think they're lost.

i bought a basket already that can hold a good amount of water plus a bag on my handlebars that can hold four half-liter bottles
the frame already has a bottle holding thing so that's a bonus
and i'm carrying a bunch more water plus food in a backpack and a 100oz circle k cup (filled with water) on my left handlebar
what i need right now is a traveling backpack so i can carry a good amount of stuff and not have the backpack fall apart on me

Well the only good part about Yuma is the Mexican food. So enjoy that. Its also hotter than Phoenix most of the time so thats fun.

If i was still living in Yuma id hook you up with some good eats.

150 is too much for what money i have left. yesterday i spent 80 dollars on the basket, lights, handlebar bag, pump and extra tube and i have only about 100 left. i also need to save some for buying more supplies when i get to yuma
i don't really want to dig into my savings for extra cash
