Why would Source 2 only be for MOBAs?? It's the third version of an engine that has basically been exclusively for FPS games so far.

It's not, but the beta has only been rolled out on a MOBA game. None of the other Source games have been updated to Source 2.

He's not saying it can't be used for anything else, he's saying he wants to use it himself and make stuff with it. He doesn't like mobas, so he has no use for the new engine at the moment.
