i don't really get what you're saying?

is it possible to use team color or would that rely on the actual projectile datablock? couldn't you check the projectile's shooter and change the block to their team color?

i mean, by using checkProjectile, it will check whether it's projectile is an orange splat projectile or blue splat projectile, and change the blocks color to it. for me, this method is working currently. If you want to see what I mean, the server name is Splatoons' Global Test Fire, and the password is Ink.

and using slayer, team members will only have the splattershot color of their team. if somehow one is thrown down, oh well.

If you're on a Slayer team, all paintable bricks you hit will turn your team's color. Otherwise, it turns to your spraycan's color. There are 5 variations - white/rainbow, green, purple, orange, and blue - but they all behave identically and just exist for particle effects. You can only paint bricks without a color FX (so any pearl or chrome bricks are safe) nor named "nop" ("no paint," makes non-FX bricks paintproof.) Tomorrow I'll write a score-checking script and hopefully pwnfulz will give me the model! :D

Turns out this is useful for building, too.

But sadly no one of the painting is realted to the game...
I would rather use a decal system that makes the player into a quake player when its steping on the decal,and when stops touching it its no jet player.
Also the splatershot did use damage...
I can try making it better but guys you should use the on FLUDD hit from the FLUDD mod for colision detection.
I cant really say anything else so go to a magical place called youtube and write splatoon gameplay.

I can code and stuff,also back to the topic i already tried doing this by simply editing the FLUDD addon.
