i have gone out and killed for meat before and gutted animals for meat before
impressive

I will never be able to understand how those hippies can go without a good steak, for their whole life.

Fetch that post about RIP AND TEAAAAAAAAR
I don't know what post you're referring to, but I can do this at least.

In my eyes there are only 2 reasons not to eat meat
1) you don't like it
2) it is against your religion

For the animals is the most bullstuff reason

I don't see why people find it morally wrong when we have teeth specifically for tearing meat apart.
lol

Maybe, but now I'm legitimately curious how this guy thinks that eating meat is "cruel."
I don't know about you man, but I don't want to live in a factory cage till I'm fat enough for some superior race to eat me just because I taste good.

I'm not acting morally superior. I am morally superior (but morality is an opinion). If you want to eat meat that's fine--but don't act like there isn't anything screwed up about it.

Edit: I feel very strongly about this issue because I love animals. I don't have any urge to eat meat but I can totally understand if someone doesn't want to stop after a lifetime of it. I actually became a vegetarian after asking why we call the thanksgiving turkey a turkey. I was horrified when I learned it was literally a dead animal and never ate meat again.

Thats why you buy from local farms and look into who is selling. Tyson is known for growth hormones and abusive conditions so I stay away from them.

We also can make spears that are really good at stabbing people we don't like.

What are you going to do? let all the cattle out into the wild for them to be slaughtered there?

It's the circle of life buddyx don't act morally superior because you don't eat meat.

That's cool, me neither, it's a good thing we don't have to worry about that.

I am morally superior.

I mean, considering that's the only statement in his post? Yeah, I guess so.

We also can make spears that are really good at stabbing people we don't like.
Is this your idea of a legitimate point, or...?

i think that we should try to prevent the deaths of humans (and other intelligent species) by humans before we try to prevent the death (and consumption) of animals by humans
