Maybe, but now I'm legitimately curious how this guy thinks that eating meat is "cruel."
I don't know about you man, but I don't want to live in a factory cage till I'm fat enough for some superior race to eat me just because I taste good.
I'm not acting morally superior. I am morally superior (but morality is an opinion). If you want to eat meat that's fine--but don't act like there isn't anything screwed up about it.
Edit: I feel very strongly about this issue because I love animals. I don't have any urge to eat meat but I can totally understand if someone doesn't want to stop after a lifetime of it. I actually became a vegetarian after asking why we call the thanksgiving turkey a turkey. I was horrified when I learned it was literally a dead animal and never ate meat again.
