How is going vegeterian healthier? Our bodies get quite a bit of essential nutrients from meat that plants don't provide.
Actually this is not true, you can get all essential proteins and nutrients from non-animal product sources. One of my teachers this past year was a vegan and she had absolutely no nutrition deficiencies whatsoever (might i also add she was in her 40's but looked like she was 22). Did she take vitamin or nutrient supplement pills? Yes, but they were all from plant-based sources, no animal products.
However, I personally am just not concerned one way or the other when it comes to eating meat. I eat what's tasty but within moderation and reason.
