Minecraft characters are unnatural
Not this unnatural. At least in the game I could be fully immersed without my head jumping out of my skull and screaming "THAT'S NOT RIGHT!"
At least in minecraft, the style was
consistent. Everything was blocks and straight lines, including you and everyone else. Here, everything is mismatched. The environment and all the items are all straight lines and blocks, and now suddenly only some of the enemies (Zombies arms curve but creepers dont) and all of the plot characters are breaking that rule. I can't get immersed into it.
I realize that it's an unfortunate limitation of the art style of the original game. The thing is, the original game just wasn't made with this kind of thing in mind. It wasn't made for smooth curvy animations, it wasn't made for voice acting (May I say the lip syncing was awful), just in general there's a lot that's off-putting. To me, (maybe not to you) it's too fundamentally flawed for me to be able to enjoy.
