Author Topic: So apparently downtown San Antonio TX has the worst internet speeds in the U.S.  (Read 2370 times)

i dont even live in miami, wtf
nope, you're about 100 miles from it

ISP: Time Warner Cable

Excuse me?
I have TWC too with the same Download speed as that one. My upload is usually around 60 and my ping is <10.

I got a D+, even though my internet feels fairly fast. I can load websites within a second.

EDIT: Thinking about it, I realised I live in a village, and our broadband is on copper wires, we don't have fibre optic :(

So apparently this is a speedtest thread now?

This isn't too bad considering that it's during the summer.

my internet is really unstable
sometimes i get 80 mb/s and sometimes 2 mb/s

not everyone has the best internet plan lmao

just pray that your imgurs upload

Oh god my speed is fast agaisnt canada, and it is supposed to be faster in download speeds.

my only complaint is that the upload speed is always 1 Mb/s

I can confirm this. I was there about a month ago.

Please, we can do without the petty insulting sarcasm and strawman. The hotel I am at has good wifi with a good router, but the speeds are still unbelievably slow. The problem is on the ISP's side of things probably.
Or because the hotel is splitting that connection among all the guests, and throttling your individual connection so you can't take it all?
Hotel internet is almost always stuff. It's intended for the bare basics that someone traveling on business needs; a quick email here and there and maybe viewing a few web pages
