My friend thinks YouTube is a virus

So, I go over to one of my friend's house the other day. He isn't much of a PC player, only Minecaft and stuff.
I go on YouTube, and he immediately stops me and says that YouTube is a virus and that it wrecked his other PC, a 13 year old Mac.
He says he went on YouTube before on this computer, and that it dramatically "Slowed down his PC".
What.
Not 30 minutes later, he goes on the most sketchiest website ever and tries to download "GTAIV SAN ANDREAS FREE ONLINE". Other games on that site were listed such as, "POKEMON STREET RACING", and "DAYZ ARMA 2 FREE CRACK".
I should've stopped him, but I let him download all of the adware and malware and viruses he could find, so hopefully he can learn his lesson. Funny part is, he thinks his computer can run most modern games, such as Battlefield or high GPU demanding games with his computer that doesn't even have flash drive ports. He tried Team Fortress 2 and got 5 FPS and blames the game.
