Now, to start off, I'd personally rather want a desktop, but my parents want me to buy a laptop to be prepared for when I go to college (which is 4 years away for me), or just the upper classes of high school in case I'll need to bring it to school.
Second of all, I don't expect to run Battlefield 4 or Fallout 4 or anything like that. I play Counter Strike and Minecraft often, and my computer now cannot run them well on even low graphics.
My budget currently is around $1,000-$1,100. It'd be more but my parents are contributing a lot to it and we just recently bought a house so we don't have too much money currently. about $500 or so is coming from me.
So far I have these two on mind, and they're under a grand. They're both laptops and I can most likely find them somewhere else for cheaper than at Best Buy.
