you know jairo used strawpoll to prevent stuff like this, but i think it's much easier to "rig" a strawpoll than a BLF vote
it's limited by accounts, so the most votes you can get reasonably is probably no larger than 3 except for extreme cases
and you can't get IRL friends to vote unless they're forumers too in which case their vote is legit
and you can't use a proxy or other devices (such as a phone) to vote

i don't really care who wins but whoever is going out of their way to change the number of votes is just being a dipstuff and that bothers me more than the vote itself

afaik nobody in plasti's circle is using a VPN or anything like that. i figured it was a combination of plasti getting the majority and having so many recommendations in the thread. or someone is a really big secret admirer of plastiware and is using a VPN or votebots or something. or someone is trying to stir up stuff
