consoles aren't about the hardware
consoles are literally hardware

consoles are literally hardware
and you're literally a mass of flesh and bones connected by incomprehensible electric signals
despite that, you still manage to be dumb
it's all about the bigger picture, you see

steam has big picture so its better than consoles

controller is p stuff, the mini screen is a tacked-on gimmick and nintendo still holds a death grip over who can make game for their console.

consoles aren't about the hardware

yeah they're about limiting the software while still doling out money hand over fist

people who still play on consoles for anything other than exclusives are only hanging on because of tradition and imho it's a tradition that's killing modern gaming

edit: To clarify though the direction nintendo has been taking for the past few years strays away from the dangerous territory of just becoming outdated and outclassed hardware. When you get to a point where there's no reason not to use a PC instead of that certain console, anything created on the console first, or specifically for the console, is limited to the constraints of the hardware.

Nintendo consoles are good on having unique features that makes it stand out from just being a weaker piece of hardware, and that's why I prefer nintendo consoles over all else.

I dont see what you're getting at with this. I'm obviously not talking about this controller.

i meant to say that there's other options for controllers instead of the gamepad, and that's the case for most popular games (smash 4, bayonetta 2, mario kart 8, etc.) because it's pretty much a gamepad without the screen

you can't tell me that donkey kong wasn't fanservice

expand kong dong

I made this for no reason one day
now, there is a reason.

What did Iwata work on at nintendo apart from the DS and Wii?
