samus is a woman, she's just a trans woman... like do you think they're going to add the trans- prefix on every single instance of referring to her? that's not proof

the japanese word for tranloveual didn't come to common use until around ten years ago when it came to be more socially acceptable, prior to that, regardless of desired gender they were pretty much always just referred to as newhalves and/or tranloveuals (トランスセクシュアル) because they were considered something else entirely. it would have to be one hell of a translation issue for that to repeatedly come overseas as "woman" without any way for NoA to actually discern the character's gender unless they were actually referred to as a woman within the game's original texts (which she was and is)

the paragraph above it only implied that in order for her to be a trans woman, they would have to refer to her as something other than a woman. samus is still a woman, so she is referred to as one. your other argument is that your opinion is valued above someone working on the game, which is ridiculous.
