so, after 9 months of not playing xbox360, the batteries in one of my controllers corrode, leaving my controller broken. it won't connect to the xbox at all and won't give any sign of life. even when we cleaned out most of the corrosion and changed the batteries, nothing worked. the other controller is also broken, but it didn't even have any batteries in it, so I'm really confused on why it broke too. I've tried a lot of really stuffty fixes like shoving paper in the metal plate in the battery pack, and using tin foil and tissue to make a cheap battery pack solution, but in the end it didnt work and i felt like a handicap in the process. is there any way to fix my xbox controllers without buying new ones?
