i do draw, quite alot actually, but it's just doodles
also, im friggin tickd off at how he does this
im only saying he should stop doing half-assed drawings
we've seen when he actually tried and it was really good
im only pissed off at the fact that he isn't trying.

the shading, the colouring, the general look; it looks really nice. the perspective is spot-on, too

what is this? i get it, its a pun, but you clearly weren't inspired nor passionate about drawin this.
in conclusion, no i dont think he's bad, he just keeps spiking up and down in quality.
one day i see somethin pretty rad, the next, well, not so
i expect something good and poof its just... that
he isn't bad in any way, he's actually pretty good; i just wish he would stay good too

you do realize thescout has a life outside of this thread, right? he's bound to get tired of making drawings once a day at some point (and real-life issues such as homework or family issues sure as hell aren't helping his mood) so cut the guy a little slack

besides, it's already an accomplishment in and of itself to draw semi-consistently each day for well over half a year

well jesus of course there's a spike in quality. you don't have the energy to put heart and soul into  drawing every single day. today in particular i woke up a few hours early and sat in a damn car for 4 hours. the days that i put a ton of effort into the drawings are the days that i have a good idea and motivation, which are not common.

drawing half assed is okay as long as you aren't just gonna tolerate the bad quality you know is there

use it as an opportunity to see what distinguishes a "bad" drawing from a "good" one.
